Yellow and Sundown were strays on the mean streets and eventually picked up by animal services. They were scheduled to be put down but Hound Haven Rescue in Oakland saved their sweet lives just in the nick of time.
We adopted Yellow Dog and Sundown together in August, 2011. Two rambunctious five-month-old puppies were a lot to handle and we quickly discovered Yellow Dog had certain issues, such as allergies and injuries. We had a lot of questions. Yellow Dog Blog was created with first-time dog owners in mind as a one-stop shop for expert-sourced information to help alleviate some of the stress of training and caring for a new pup.
